I am a former classroom teacher with two Master's Degrees in Education, and I specialize in K-8 Math and English Language Arts. I've always loved teaching, but math holds a special place for me; especially that moment when a student finally understands something that once felt impossible.

Throughout my years in education, I've seen how many students develop gaps in foundational skills. Sometimes those gaps go unnoticed for years, leaving students frustrated, discouraged, or convinced they simply "aren't good" at a subject. I've also seen families searching for quality academic support without the high cost that often comes with traditional tutoring programs.

That's why I created The Maisano Method.

My goal is to provide affordable, engaging academic support that helps students strengthen skills, build confidence, and genuinely understand what they're learning. Through small-group classes, individualized tutoring, and interactive book clubs, I want students to have a place where they can learn, ask questions, practice, discuss, and grow without feeling overwhelmed.

Whether we're filling in missing math foundations, strengthening reading and language skills, or discussing a great book together, my philosophy is the same: learning should be supportive, engaging, and focused on understanding - not just memorizing!
